80's series What breed of dog is jump?

i was wondering, in the 80's series, what breed of dog is jump?
I have a few ideas but i want to know exactly.
Airedale TerrierFox Terrier, WireJack Russell TerrierLakeland TerrierWelsh Terrier these are my best bets

Here's jump for a comparison:
He's about 26" tall in the anime.

I'm not very good when it comes to breeds, but it looks to me as Jump could be any of those!

And maybe he's a bastard?

He looks a lot like Milou/Snowy (from Tintin) and Crayon Shin Chan's dog (called Snowy, too, at least in my land). But, like Astro_Forever, I think it's a bastaed (is it correct to say this ?

)

Bastard meant illegitimate. I think you mean mongrel or mutt (mixed breed).

Oh, you are right!

The French word "bâtard" also has this meaning, but apparently not its English equivalent!

My sister runs An Animal Rescue Centre and i sent her the pic above and she said that it might be a welsh terrier crossed with a Jack Russel
BTW I Just Got 2 German Shepherd alsations 1Male 1Female 16 Weeks old from the Animal Rescue Centre. I named The Female Lilly, And The Male Kimba

that must be a gr8 mix.... I used to have a tri-colored border collie. Very nervous, I sold gave her to a farmer who i go to see about 1ce every 2 weeks and i take my new gsd's (german shepherds)

my grandmum had a german shepherd it was well trained and evry protective it was a old police dog
