Woah! I'm surprised this nonsense got any replies at all.

Well, thanks!
The song's link posted above comes from a site featuring a bunch of other songs recorded 60 / 70 years ago, hence the "superb" quality:

Though it's way before my time, I happen to get a nostalgic feeling when listening to ancient tunes as suchlike.

You inspired me!!!
(Starts a lame imitation of George Benson)
"Somewhere/
beyond the sea/
somewhere/
waitin' for me/
my love stands/
on golden saaaaaand
And watches the ships/
that go saaaaailing..."
I can't sing the Charles Trènet version, sorry...

I can't help looking at this pic waiting for Buster Keaton in a steamboat passing the background.

What a bummer! I actually was looking forward to it...
Has this been released on DVD yet? The summary looks pretty interesting, especially this part:
Code: Select all
Fujinami's greatest love is the sea. He enjoys surfboarding and finds the power and manliness of the ocean to be an inspiration that often moves him to tears. He seems to relate to the ocean as if it was a person. His business depends on the sea although he believes that it's actually the other way around. He's rather fond of yelling out the phrase "Umi ga suki!" (I love the sea) while in an emotional rage. Whenever he gets exceedingly inspired like that, it is always followed by a massive tidal wave for dramatic effect (even inland).
"My horse is on vacation, therefore..."

Ryunosuke's (known as Alexandra/Alex in my country) dad is one of the craziest charchters in the history of manga. But more than the "I love the sea" quote, I love the chapter where he took three sharks to a pool and said: "Let me introduce to you introduce Mr.Marbella [touristic Spanish city known for its powerful mob and its corrupt majors] ! And now, here's Mr. Copacabana!"
And the real Ataru replied:
"And what's next, Mr. Thaiti?"
I laughed a lot with this gag.

I think I just saw that one. It was Mendou's resort's pool which he filled with the exotic fish from the aquarium. Suckers paid Y500 to scoop up fish, until they noticed the sharks!

Netflix offers 50 discs in the
UY TV series, as well as several UY movies & an OAV. I do not think Netflix does businness in Canada, or if it is available for purchase in Canada.
