The Adam Link I seek is from the B&W Outer Limits. Based solely on circumstantial evidence, he was presumed guilty of murdering his creator, and sentenced to destruction. This is the only element of the story of interest to me, as it relates to the 2003 Astroboy series. :astro:

Hmmm... May I ask how it relates?

Why did he murder his creator, was he troubled?

I was wanting to save this for publication on my page on the Blue Knight.

The following is copyrighted by Me:

(Refer to Episode 45) Kip was present when the girl tumbled down the stairs, bonked her noggin, & lost consciousness. General Red just happened to see her fall, & presumed Kip pushed her in revenge for Red tranferring him to an undesirable job.

The GP-4 robots were first targeted for destruction because one of their kind was Kip (Jake), who was convicted as described. Then, once the GP-4 series was arrested, the other AI robots were likewise condemned.
Adam Link (of "I, Robot"), was first convicted under similar circumstances to Kip (Jake). He was there when humans entered the room, & saw the shelf that they assumed he had torn from the wall to crush his creator's skull.

Both cases overlook the obvious fact that if either robot wanted to harm the victim, there were far better means of doing so. :astro:

I did not say that he murdered anybody, only that he was presumed guilty of doing so. Note that the color remake of this story has certian plots elements changed, & thus does not compare to the Astroboy story in the same way.
