I was just watching the 80s version of Crucifix Island, when I realized that the sound of Pook transforming seemed very similar to that of G. Jetson's family car.

There's a little sound of the 1980 series that I've heard in another cartoon or that era, but I can't remember which one. IIRC it was not a Tezuka cartoon, which is why it surprised me. Marine Express (1979) and the 1980 Astroboy share a few sound effects, but that's not a surprise since they are both Tezuka productions.

The sound I've heard can be heard in one of Mark's video clips. Astro and Zeus are fighting at the end, and when Torch calls for Astro's attention, you can hear it. I know it's heard elsewhere but I just don't remember where.

I watched it with the English language audio, but did not notice anything.
