Astro boy 1963 fansubs

Hi. Since the original Astro boy series from 1963 is only available with the edited english dub in America (aside from a few select episodes) and several episodes are not available at all, does anyone know if any group is fansubbing this series? I would really like to see the original series, in its original Japanese language with english subtitles. If anyone knows where to find them, please respond. Thank you!

A group called The Atom Project was talking about 1963 fansubs a couple of years ago but I never heard anything more about it. I can't find the posts here about it. Anyway, the main obstacle is getting a translator, all the rest is fairly straightforward. So they probably had no translator.

Many of the episodes were based upon manga stories that are widely available, & even most others stories are graphically oriented so that one need not understand Japanese to get the general ideas.
