Wow! That is just creepy! Awesome at the sametime. Astro right now is still cutier than that thing. I think it is possible Astro will get made in Japan but he might not have all his powers because in real life that is kinda dangerous and people would get upset if he did had those powers. Astro would probably just talk and walk and maybe even run. Asimo can run right now.

Cool, but can he stick out his tongue, tug down his lower eyelid, and say 'bleah'? We need a smiley that does just that!
Seriously, I think this is great. Did anyone see the program on Star Wars tech? Among other things, artificial arms, legs, & hands were discussed. They were even talking about using the body itself as power for the bionic limbs.
As I understand AI, they really want the robot to mimic the human's learning process. While that does involve AI, it also involves actually determining how humans learn.
