Other than the fact that the machine gun in :astro:

's hip looks like it's coming out of his rear, has anyone noticed that it looks like a laser, not a machine gun? :eek:

In the 1980 series, it certainly sounded like a machine gun. Also the light traces left by the bullets were interrupted, unlike what came out of his fingers. But, yes, it could look like it was lasers.
