Tezuka's actors have also appeared in other ads, as indicated by their "performace lists."
I do not regard this as selling out; it does cost $ to create the manga & anime we all enjoy, & as long as they do not endorse political figures, I have no problem with it.

I just thought of something. Why would Astro do an ad for a car considering how Tobio died?

It was his own actions that killed him, & he was hit by a truck. I often wondered about a music video of Tobio's demise to the tune of Detroit Rock City--yes, it would be in bad taste.

I just realized the irony of Astroboy doing an ad for tires when he takes place in the future with flying cars XD
