How much time is there between Astroboy's creation and his becoming a hero?

Not sure. Maybe a few years. Considering (In the Manga at least) He lives with Tenma for a few years as his son, then was sold to the circus and lived there for quite a while

Well that sounds like a very long time, in the anime they make it seem like it only took two weeks or something like that

Hi- Thanks Tetsuwan_Haruhi, in the cartoon i seen about Astroboy being born/created they implied years went by, so i wonder how many years, thanks.

IF the time includes several years in the original cartoon then Astroboy was either created before 2000ad or his adventures have to take place much later than the year 2000 ad that is mentioned in the cartoons, thanks.
