Well, I am writing a fic where Astro gets partial amnesia, and can't remember that he's Astro, the only things he can remember is his OLD life, as Tobyo. Any suggestions?

Please, how about this:
Astroboy finds himself in a strange city trying to figure what has happen and Dr Elefun needs him or a tragedy is going to happen. To make his situation worse, one of his enemies is trying to take advantage of Astroboy's amnesia.

Atlas or Blue Knight might try to lure him into thinking he must fight humans, or on another side, Lamp might lure him into fighting robots, depending on whether he knows he is a robot.

Wait, what series is this from, and when does it take place?
Because if it's 2003, and takes place after the anime, neither Atlas nor Blue Knight would want to fight humans because they already repented.

Why not have him be tricked into thinking he is an orphan by someone who knew him from the robot circus, they would try to use Astroboy to get revenge and then double-cross him.

Denkou, have you decided what causes Astro's malfunction? If not, it could be caused by his circuits melting after an energy overload, water getting into him and messing with his CPU or just a really bad hit.
