"Robio & Robiette" in My English Class!

At school, we've been studying "Romeo and Juliet" in my English class. On Monday, I mentioned to my teacher that there was an Astro Boy episode that took a spin on the story, and she actually was interested in playing it in class!
So, we watched it this morning, unfortunately many of the kids were expecting the Canadian dub [I only have the American] we'd all grown up with. Everybody liked Robiette's character design, and Uran didn't flash her underpants any time in the episode. Unfortunately, some people started laughing at stuff in the episode, like Kibalt [Tybalt] exploding, the grey noodley thing Robio and Robiette became when they got smashed together, and how Robio and his brothers were walking in his flashback. Then at the end:
: Does this mean their hearts have become one?
Kid at Back of the Room: [As Elefun] Shut up, Astro!
In the end, my teacher liked how many references to the original story there were [Elefun warning the two men like how Prince Escales warned the two families]. And plus, my friends - a bunch of old fans - got to watch something they hadn't seen in years. That was probably the most fun I've had in english class.
