french 80's Astroboy on Youtube! (2nd season)

For anyone who's fed up with waiting for the 2nd season of the french-canadian DVDs to be released:
I recently put the whole 2nd half of the french Astroboy series up on U2be. It was kind of a protest reaction against the company's apparent reluctance to release the 2nd DVD box.
In the course of the past year I mailed them about 4 times me using both english & french without getting the slightest answer. I don't know what they're up to, fact is I lost my patience.
So, here they are!
Enjoy! (Hope your french is better than mine)

Wow, that was you who put them up, Strange Wings? I'd have to say, thanks for the nostaglia shot! I have a minimal grasp of what's being said, but all the voices brought me back to the old Canadian dub.

I'm glad I could offer a little service. My understanding of spoken french has become way better by repeatedly hearing the french dub, so it has been a neat practice for me. I still seem to have trouble grasping some expressions, but as you said, the sound of the voices alone are bringing back the memories. Flora Balzano did the voice of Astro, Eve Gagnier the one for Uranie/Uran.
I think they did a splendid job!

Btw Fauna, thanks for subscribing! I'm a bit unsure whether I should upload the eps of the 1st season as well, since the DVDs themselves are available through DEP distribution. From my side, it would be just for the sake of completion, but maybe others are interested in watching them too?

That is one of the best way to learn a language if you have the talent and memory. Watch something in another language of a program that you are completely familiar with and know what words were said in the program.

I did not have time yesterday to take a look at your videos, Strange Wings, but I'll certainly enjoy them soon! Thank you so much!
I loved the original French order and was glad they went with it for the release, but unfortunately, most of my favorite episodes are in the second half...

So now I do not have them on DVD, and there are a few of them I still haven't seen in years.
Edited: I've yet to watch one, I'm still wondering which one I want to watch!

All those I uploaded are the one episodes supposed to appear on DEP distribution's 2nd season. I edited them together using both DVD boxes from the European-French release along with the 1st season released by DEP.
Nero = friend!
Of course the video quality of Youtube leaves a lot to wish for, but it's better than nothing.
Oh, and thanks for subscribing to my account, Astro Forever!

Yes, I had understood you had uploaded what was supposed to come out on DVD here. Thanks!

I hadn't realized you had worked so hard to do mix both releases, wow, I really wasn't that difficult! Thanks again!

You're quite welcome! I did it last year when I've had some free time, and it really was fun, so it wasn't hard work for me. The DEP release I only used for the original opening/ending credits which sadly got alternated on the European release. I wanted to have the episodes put together as I remembered them how they were broadcasted back in the 80's. Half things don't make up for me.

They do for me, just not when they're done by companies, especially those that claim to do their best to present something according to the fan's memories....

How ironic!
