Hello everyone!
I haven't really been on this for... Well... I've never been on this... So, I'm kinda new? I don't know.

But, I have a quick question...

I know there is an Astro Boy movie coming out in 2009, and I have a question... Although I'm not sure if anyone will be able to answer it, but, meh... It's worth a shot.

Okay then.

Does anyone know what the movie will be based on?

Will it be based on the Astro Boy Books, 60's Astro Boy, 80's Astro Boy, or the 2003 Astro Boy?
I would like to know, because I really do want to see it... But, if it's based on the 2003 Astro Boy... I probably won't bother... (Don't ask, I just didn't like it)

If anyone knows anything, please let me know!

Note: I was gonna post this question on IMDb, since people seemed to know a lot... But, the Freddie Highmore fans are just posting horrible things about Astro (has anyone else seen it?) so I didn't bother...

Not sure that it's going to be based on any specific version of the story. From what we know now, it's pretty much going to be a straight-up adaptation of the classic story with some modernized twists.

I'm not too sure, but I don't think it's really supposed to be based on any particular version, just sort of it's own interpretation of the original story. That's the impression I got, anyway. I guess we'll have to wait until more info comes out before we know for sure.

Yes, it is a shame that people have been saying such negative things about Astro, even though most of them don't even know anything about him. But, it's probably best just to ignore their comments, since, well... They don't know anything...
