Again, the story/character comparisons between all 3 versions leave nothing to wish for.
Did you notice that the character of Dr.Fooler (which I think is Dr.Huntley for the english 80's anime) bears a striking resemblance to Minimini Hakase from the 2003 series? He appears in both 'The Large Venture Of Micro' and 'Fairy Story'.

Minimini is Fooler. His quest to obtain Atom is well ducumented in the manga version of Count Bat (vol 17 of manga). He uses a chibi-Atom in both stories to try to steal Atom, by diverting Atom's will from the control of his own body to control of the chibi's body.

I do not know why they changed his name, though.
