Astro boy/Simpsons fan comic project?

Hello everyone!

Before i start i wanted to say i had this idea for a short one-shot fan comic of Astroboy/Simpsons comic,

Don't get scared is isn't anything like a crossover ...

when the summer comes i be away for 3/2 weeks on vacation but then i have plenty of time before school restarts i was thinking of drawing a short comic i am not 100 procent sure i am going to do it because i also have my original comic ( Kingdom of Monia ) to work on but that is why i'm making this thread i'm looking for other people who are willingly to work with me on this.

i be doing the sketches and line art of the pages ( if anyone wants to line art my sketches that be great but that be asking to much ) i am also looking for someone who wants to the the text of the comic ( i lack proper English ) and coloring ! i really suck at coloring so if i really need another artist who wants to do this!!!

as for the story ideas are more then welcome..the story is going to be about Astro finding a machine that transforms him into a average boy and he is send into Springfield to help Homer Simpsons stop Kursty the Clown..

Nah just kidding folks ! the real story is Lisa and Bart visiting a comic store and finding the Japanese manga section, Bart hates manga but he finds some comic books he believe he will like ( Naruto Dragon Ball Z ) Lisa drags him away from them and gives him ( in her opinion good written manga's ) to see Bart takes a look at them and anciently slips ( on something? ) and he dreams of being Astro boy at the end of his dream he will wake up ofcourse so this is sorta to say a PARODY on Astroboy. there have been Bart as Batman adventures and seeing how Bart was portrayed as Astro boy once in the series i believe it will be fitting.

The art style will be the Simpsons, it won't be a serious comic but a nice non-offense parody of Astro boy, ideas on the story line are more then welcome and if someone has a good sense of Simpsons-humor it be nice if someone like that joins this project then.

I look forward to reading it if you do go ahead with it. Sideshow Tenma is an awesome idea. What about Skunk though (if you plan to include him that is)

i do plan to enclude more characters into the comic, as i am no huge fan of Skunk however i have a difficulty on where to put him.

Would Barney make a funny drinking version of Skunk? or Snake ? could he be a hilarious pitch for Skunk?

I am only going ahead with it if i do get other artist involved but seeing the lack of replies for the idea i'm afraid this is a no go.

Barney isn't evil, I would say that Burn is more appropriate, although he might be better as Guiss, in which case his lapdog (Smith?) could be Skunk (even though he isn't evil either, but nevertheless serves an evil man).

Or better yet, you could work Skunk into being Snake (you know who I mean, right?).

I'd love to see Skunk as Sideshow Bob, but I agree, Snake would work much better, especially if we're talking the 2003 Skunk. I really can't picture him being as eloquent as Sideshow Bob.

Indeed i think Snake could make a fine Skunk ( that sounds better in my head i swear ! )

Sidehow bob has to be Dr Tenma there is no other way around. : D

Now do you guys have more options on who's Simpsons character can be a Astro Boy character ?

I want to include Lenny and Carl for a panel or 2 but who could they play?

And there is still Atlas <

Anyone any suggestion for the storyline?

Anyone knows/or can help with the coloring / text then this comic could have its first start off here.

You can't have Snake as Skunk without Police Chief Wiggum as Inspector Gumshoe / Inspector Tawashi and either Lou or Eddie as Chief McClaw / Inspector Nakamura. What about Professor John Frink as Dr Tenma? He's Springfield nerdy scientist/inventor guy who keeps saying "HOYVIN-GLAYVIN!" He he, just kidding.
