I am not sure if some of you have already seen it or not but 2 years ago i saw they were selling Edumanga's in a comic store.

These Edu manga's are meant for children in Japanese Elementary school to learn important historical figures of the past ( Helen Adams Keller, Mother Theresa , ect )

in each volume their is a 4 page preview about Astro boy and Uran learning about a subject and Prof: Ouchimazi...< never mind teaches and tells the story of a important figure.

The story is drawn by a different artist but there are many cute Astro boy pictures trough out the comic explaining the children about various subjects, i managed to get the 3 volumes ( Helen Adams Keller, Beethoven and Anne Frank ) the last one made me cry D :

if you guys want more scans you can request here but here are some pages of the previews.

Hello Hikari.

I own all 5 Edu-Manga books in my collection. My favourite is Helen Adams Keller.

By the way I tried to PM you to say hello just now. But it couldn't get through. Can I just say I'm very pleased to meet you? :)

Incidentally the other two I also have are Albert Einstein and Mother Teresa. If any more came out I'd love to buy them too.

Its a bit freaky to see the prof looking angry with a giant Nazi symbol right behind him... but I imagine the mangas are quite fun, and they might even teach you something.

Yeah. They are excellent historical manga. Very fascinating facts to learn about.
