It seems like this manga is generally unknown, and I can't find scanlations for it anywhere. Luckily, the swedish manga industry that exists solely for the purpose of producing weaboos, decided to translate the 2003 Astro Boy instead of the original.

I'm offering here some scans(Or rather pictures taken by camera) from my own books.(Warning, these are kinda huge..)

Note: In this manga, they use "she" around Denkou, so I was pretty stunned by all the "What gender is Denou" comments. ^__^ It's confirmed. Denkou is a girl

Thank you so much for the scans the first picture had an awesome panel of Dr Tenma how i love that abusive father but erm anyway this makes me want to buy the new manga even more but since the older series were canceled in Holland i don't think the comic publishers are going to take a second chance here..

Aww, that's way too bad... It's pretty hard to find, even back here it's out of print. But the art is really good, I reccomand you get it in japanese or any other lagngeuge if you can. I'm thinking of scanlating it, or at least writing a translation.

Man, why can't we get this in America? When Speed Racer's movie came out THAT got it's Mangas. We just get crappy Americanized comics.

I agree! And I'm actually more prone to read manga than watch anime, 'cuz my attention span is tiny. Luckily, it seems they've stopped "Americanizing" things... I hope they stopped, at least. (And just look at what they did to Astro in Latin America..) Luckily, I never saw much of that crap growing up. Worst thing I got was an anime-comic made out of Sailor Moon by adding text bubbles to screenshots. (And I actualy bought every issue.. _ _;

I don't know if this series would sell any good, seeing as it's not the original and all... That's really sad, 'cause there's some really good stories in this one.

I've just found out that the Astro Boy 2003 manga has been released in French. If you know french, or would like to try and learn it, then, well.
