Astro Boy (2003) subbed

I am trying to find the 2003 Astro Boy subbed. It's ridiculous that the box set doesn't have it subbed! Also, why were the episodes put out of order?

Also one last question: Is the manga the Astro Boy manga the best way to experience Tezuka's vision unadulterated?

I don't think there is an official subbed version of the 2003 version.

Yes the episodes are out of order for a reason that I've yet to know. (Although this isn't uncommon for an American dub)

Unfortunately I haven't really read the manga much to know.

There is a Korean version that is widescreen, is licensed, does follow the Japanese sequence, uses Japanese audio, and is subtitled in English. However, it is only the 1st half of the series, it lacks #20 Eternal Boy, & you will have difficulty in finding it, as it is out of print.
