Every scene with Atlas ruled in the 1980's series. I loved how he resembled the polar opposite of Astro Boy.

There were several versions of stories over the years Tezuka wrote Tetsuan Atom manga. The 1980s version of Atlas is found in only 1 short story published in an Elementary school magazine. However, only the chibi (little boy) version of Atlas was in it. It is reprinted in volume 23 of the manga.
