I just received notice from CD Japan:

Features 58 episodes (All episodes from Part 1: ZZZ-dan no Maki / Part 2: Mexico no Maki / Part 3: Franken to Atom no Maki / Part 4: Kasei Tanken no Maki / Part 5: Kitai Ningen no Maki) Includes 8-page practical guide.

Astro Boy [Live-action Version] DVD Box [Limited Pressing]

:astro: :astro: :astro:    :astro: :astro: :astro:

It is quite expensive, though; currently about $340 US.

I suppose that Yes Asia & Amazon.JP will also carry this product, but I did not bother to check yet.

 Whoa, I don't know what's creepier - the DVD box' front cover or the price to pay for it. :D

Must be fun to watch in company; with plenty of beer in reach.

 I am so overwhelmed with stuff! The stuff I ordered earlier this week arrived today, including the subject of this thread; but I am still in the midst of Animerama, & BJ14 arrived yesterday also! :p irate:

EDIT:
Image
THE WRAPAROUND PART: BACK & BOTTOM

Image
FRONT: this would cover Atom's feet (on the front cover. There was a small tab that partially covered the end, & was the same height as this.

SORRY FOR ONLY SCANNING, But this should give the general idea of the inside:

Under disc 2, are 6 others, in hinged flip-out holders.

Here is the back of the case, which would be completely covered by the wraparound at top.

And the front of the plastic case:

There is a 12 page booklet that I assume covers the series as a whole, & the various episodes, or should I say serial stories. See the link on the other thread (above) for details. :p

I expect I will finish Arabian Nights today, then start this. :astro:

So does that mean there is no front cover with live Atom like we see on e-tailers? Or is it on some box that holds the plastic case inside maybe?
