It might not be number one in the box office, but on Deviantart, I'm noticing more people faving my Astro Boy stuff. Not my actual drawings per say, but my Astro Boy stamps and motivational posters

I was sitting in McDonalds today watching my daughter play with her very first Astro toy and it got me looking around at the other kids playing with them. Even the girls got the toys you know how McDonalds usually offer boy or girl toys. The girls wanna Astro!!!

I sure hope so. The movie was obviously not designed for us hardcore fans, but for getting the series a solid standing in the USA. I didn't know McDonalds was chipping into the action, but I knew Disney was.

I'm thinking that it's accomplishing the goal of garnering american support for Astro Boy, I just hope I'm, and you dragonrider, are right.

Funny. Today the wife and I were moving stuff into our storage unit and this man's daughter asked why my Astro boy stuffy hanging in the back seat was colored black and white.

Kids...

Dragonrider: Yeah Family Channel played up the advertising alot and Family Channel is the Canadian extension of the Disney Channel (essentially) so I imagine the latter was advertising it in the same manner (getting one of their narrators to briefly talk about it in one of those featured trailer moments, it's hard to describe but you'd know what i'm talking about if you saw it).

Don't get too excited, guys -- it might just be a passing fad...
Yeah, seems obvious I'm the naysayer party-pooper... ^_^;
