Ah what can be said about the two boy androids? Their series' are spiritual siblings, despite one being a video game and one a tv show (though I think Mega Man should get a good, proper anime). Both of them are androids fashioned in the design of 10 year old boys. Both of them are absolutely adorable little superheroes, and both of arm cannons and sisters.

Yes I'm aware Mega Man was based on Astro, this is supposed to be a positive thread.

Anyways they're both cute and I would love to see them working side-by-side in something. What about all you folks? Any other similarities you can see? Would you like to see the two boys fighting crime together for a little bit in something? Any of you people that like writing those weird funny scripts, think you could come up with any situations with Mega Man and Astro? How do you people think Astro and Mega would get along? Just friendly? Brotherly? Would Zoran/Uran maybe develop a crush on Mega?

And, this one's going out to you Dragonrider, who has the better tushy?

Sure. Megaman has to pay respects to Astro. A good budget and cast and crew and a deep enuf story. Anime is so flexible. But I love serious anime. There will be fraps transmissions shown in theaters. Not to mention lifelike "cyber stars..."
Imagine an astro photo realistic Anime. With a "Cyber Vincent Price..."
Cyber Shirley Temple? In Hong Kong they can do anything.

Heh, sweet! That's when they get a Fusion Adapter lol. Honestly Mega Man and Astro fused together would be one extremely powerful robot. All of Astro's powers, plus Mega's and Mega's ability to copy powers.

And Dragonrider, I got your name wrong in the opening post. I was asking you when I asked who has the better tushy. Hehe.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Rockman/Megaman (especially the X saga), also, my user name is based on Megaman (Rokkuman the japanese for Rockman).

Megaman is fully based in Astroboy, or inspired of him.. anyway, there is a lot of cool characters and animes inspired in other existence characters and styles (likes Gundam, Robotech.. they all the same!).

I think that the 9-10 years old robot kid theme is a cool subjet. You can make a lot of beautiful stories with it .

I have 9 years old robot character, named Ikaro, and even I'm drawing the first chapter .

I was thinking.. it would be cool that Imagi makes a Megaman movie. What do you guys think?

Definitely, I'd totally see a Mega Man movie. As long as they make Wily a fairly devious guy when not at gun point (if you think about it he's proven to, in a way, be the most competent as he's never been manipulated by someone else and most of his plans have pretty much succeeded by the time Mega gets to him).

I don't mind X, but Mega X is too old. I like the little guy.

And I'd like to see Ikaro, he sounds cute. And if anyone would like to read my Mega Man fic (one of a trilogy which i'll follow up with a astro-mega crossover) it's here: Mega Man's Awakening (yes the title is a reference to Link's Awakening).

I'm glad Astro fans are also Mega Man fans.

With the boots on him he kind of looks like Stinkoman from Homestar Runner. lol
