A VERY ASTRO BOY CHRISTMAS!

At this time of year, when there is hardly anything good on TV, I like to take out my Astro Boy DVD collection and watch the two Christmas episodes from the original series! Most of you know about the episode known as "The Wonderful Christmas Present", but not many realize that the episode, "The Snow Lion" was also a Christmas episode as it premiered on Japanese TV on Christmas Eve, 1963 and was meant to be the first holiday episode for the series, just like other TV series have holiday episodes! So I like to sit back with Astro Boy and all of his family and friends and celebrate the season! So to all, a very Merry Asto Boy Christmas and holiday greetings to all my astrobuddies out there and may we all have a very healthy and prosperous New Year!

Moving into our new house this weekend! It's christmas!

Wow! Good luck with that, Danny! I've moved something like seven times in the last nine years or so, and I know how much work it is to move from one house into another. Hopefully we'll get your first post once you've unpacked your computer and gotten Internet set up and working at the new house!

Moving into our new house this weekend! It's christmas!

Yeah, Moving at anytime can be rough, let alone at Christmas! But it should be good once you are all moved in! One thing that might brighten your spirits is to watch or read your favorite Astro Boy episode! Along with the Christmas episodes, some of my favorites are: "Attack from Space", "The Moon Monsters"(color version), and "Double Trouble"! From the 1980s series, I like "The Baby Elephant, Pook", "Atom vs. Atlas" and "The Time Machine"! From the 2004 series, both episodes that feature, Wally Kisagari (aka HigeOyaji); the episode that introduced "the Repo Girls" and the episode that introduced "Zoran"! From the manga series my favorite is "The Plant People"! So whatever your favorites are enjoy them and I wish you all the best! And to all a very merry Astro Boy Christmas and to all a goodnight!
