As I watched Astro Boy again at the Dollar Theater a thought struck me. Don't you think Astro would have noticed that he couldn't take his belt, boxers, or boots off? They're kinda lazored on with his skin.

I'm betting that, given Tenma's notorious obsessiveness, he went to great lengths to duplicate Toby exactly.

Well just saying...unless Tenma did a good job of cloaking Astro's programming, I kinda find it hard to believe he couldn't have figured things out rather quickly. Then again it's a cartoon after all.

If your going to think that way. Then perhaps the reason why he cloaked shorts onto Astro is cause he never really looked at his sons...under areas *Crosses arms and nods.*

plus Uran putting on Astros underoos in that one episode to confuse Pluto.

Well Tobio is his son. He's likely seen his own son naked before, and really why would he care? Being a scientist he'd be well aware of genetics and know that Tobio was partly him... just saying a parent who's also a scientist wouldn't be uncomfortable about that sort of thing with his own son.

I would think so. Tenma wasn't trying to build a mere robot...he was trying to build Toby. And he did call Astro a perfect replica. So I think we can rest assured that Astro is anatomically correct. Now, what that means for a future love life...perhaps, when they're both older, for Cora...remains to be seen...
