Sweet present though. I had found that one at AWA (Anime Weekend in Atlanta) for 4 bucks new. It was also the only Astro thing I found which is sad. Specially with the movie almost in theaters at that time.

And thats the story on why I stopped watching that show.

i actually like astro's voice in the 2003 version. candi milo can really change her voice to fit any show she voice acts in. here is a list of shows she acted in: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candi_Milo just look in her filmography.

Personally I liked the English voices in the 2003 version to, but I did not care for the script at times. I usually don't mind reading subtitles, so I tend to prefer watching the uncut Japanese with subtitles Astro Boy (or any of my other anime).

Her voice is actually alright until it starts sounding scratchy and Naruto-like. Then there's catchphrase... >>
