ARRGH!! I just missed TWO Fred Schodt appearances!!

He made two New York appearances in April (2010) -- both (especially Bard College) driving distance from where I live!!! :d oh: OMG I can't believe my rotten lousy luck!! I just finished "The Astro Boy Essays" and can not recommend it enough -- would have LOVED to hear him speak about his experiences.
It would be great to have a monthly thread of any kind of Astro Boy-related events (and I do realize this is a world-wide meeting place). I've bookmarked his site now - but it would be great to have a resource like that here.

Seems he lives in California, so I doubt he'll be out this way any time soon.
He did have a link to this forum on his site, which is cool. Do wish I had gone exploring sooner though. Would have been amazing. Oh well, hopefully there will be a next time.
