and after I watched it I laughed and said
"I am not here right now please leave a message after the beep...BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP violent and verbal bleping and beeping continueing.... XD

OMG - I watched the movie -- NOW I get why so many of you are Black Jack fans (still don't understand some stuff, like why his face is stitched, and who is Pinoco) -- it's GOOOOD stuff! Thanks, Astronomical Girl!!

I agree Astro boy and Jack Black are great charactors , Black Jack becuase I love the human body and Pinoco was an interesting case and Jack Black is a strong charactor, and Astro boy, Astro gives you reason to value more of your humanity. both these I love XOX

Hi, AprilSeven! Yes I agree Dr.Black Jack is one of Dr. Tezuka's greatest creations! For a great explanation of the questions you ask above, I suggest you look up all the information at Tezuka in English under Black Jack basics! They explain it thoroughly! Even the Black Jack (character) page at Wikipedia has some decent info! The manga is some of the best and the series of Black Jack OVAs are some of the best anime I have ever seen! Black Jack and Pinoko (or as her name was explained to me "pinochle", get it, "blackjack and pinochle"?) even make an appearance in one of my favorite episodes of Shin TetsuWan Atom(u), titled "The Time Machine"! actually the stiched face was another accident with him and a freind when his freind died, Jack asked if he could have his face stiched with the skin that of his freind, it's a momento. Pinoko was a rare case of a "fetu in fetus" which is a parasitic twin (a form of conjoined twins) who grew inside her sister for eighteen years until Jack removed her.
