Are there any Astroboy conventions?

I'd be delighted to attend. I've never heard of such, but it seems like it would be a great way for everyone to get together.

As far as I know, series-specific conventions are incredibly rare, so finding one for Astro Boy is pretty much slim to none. Conventions for anime/games-in-general, genre conventions and merchandise conventions are much more common and widespread.
You would be better off to just attend any convention and bring Astro Boy to it, whether that be cosplaying, setting up a stall or looking for merchandise...

I have seen several people cosplay as various Tezuka characters. If they ever have a convention near Alliance, where I live, I'll go as Tima from Metropolis, and my sis would go as Uran.

Hm, the only place I can figure that happening is Astro's birth place in Japan, since he's so well known there. Sad to say i've not heard of a convention only on Astro Boy. Like stated by Dr. Jerk, conventions are often a mix.
If there was one and I had the talent to make a costume, I think I'd go as Cora. ^_^
