All I can say is I hope Hollywood doesn't screw this up. Their track record has been quite abysmal where anime to live action is concerned.

I think, it's time i start crying.

Let's insanely hope it's not like a Resident Evil game getting turned into a film. Where the only thing that link the characters are their names and they're not really them, just people pretending to be them ya know? Sure they're actors but that's besides the point.

o.o; why can't i think happy today?

Old news, but whatever.

I was kinda expecting it to be CGI, not live-action. But I guess live-action would fit it, since the manga's artwork was very realistic.

I suspect that the plot will only be loosely similar and that it'll be a family film (Illumination Entertainment is a family entertainment studio). Wouldn't be surprised if it used completely different characters. Despite that, I do think it may be decent as a film because the producer has been quite successful as the former president of Fox Animation and now the trend is continuing with his new studio. Let's just hope his Live-Action output is going to be as good as his animation.

Try to separate speculation from fact. Poor souls coming in from Google may take your word on it.

I have to hope that the movie retains the wide range of races in the characters. Otherwise, I've got a lot of faith that this movie is going to be at least good*.

*Unlike the proposed remake of the MW movie, which deviated dramatically from Tezuka's original in the first place.

If they don't change it it'll be good.
