In Tezuka's Astro boy Manga we find that the time period is 2003-13 somewhere around those lines. And we envision the future being different from the future from what people thought of the future back in the 50's and 60's.
Tezuka's future is
cars that don't fly ,we eat actual food not pills, and robots
fifty-sixty years ago
flying cars,aliens,robots,pills for food,teepee houses
Is Tezuka's version more accurate then other versions?

The setting keeps on going "backwards"...
1960 series - 2000
1980 series - 2030
2003 series - 2043
Which means...

Tezuka did have hover cars in his manga, as shown in The Birth of Astro Boy and His Highness Deadcross.
Jetter Mars, which had similar scenery despite it being in the year 2015, also had hover cars.

Wikipedia: The time is the year 2043.
Of course, some times Wikipedia isn't that reliable. But other times its okay.

who's to say thats not possible? hover cars,i've heard that they are prototyping jet packs, but still Tezuka's version of the future isn't that far off as others were, our children be born in tubes and we pick out our children or we don't have arms or legs or eyes

The closet humanity got to the hover car so far is the hovercraft.

I wasn't saying anything against Tezuka's visions of the future. For a moment, I thought you suggested that there were no hovercars in Tezuka's works, and I thought I would merely correct that assumption.

Do you think time travel is possible? If so, what are the consequences, if there are any?
