I was searching deviantart spelling Astro Boy as 'Astroboy' and wow I discovered new art (do people not know how to spell o_o).

Anyways I was searching and I found the concept art for the Astro Boy comic prequel.

The art itself is very different from what was in the prequel comic...I personally didn't like the prequel comic because it echod too much of a certain other comic that made my eyes bleed.

I did however find this art interesting, it is a little strange but strange can be fun =3

Wow, Astro really loves Da Vinci. It's kinda creepy, but i like how it shows the the way his arms and legs look different after being activated into the arm cannons and rocket feet.

So Tenma is grinning Jim carrey once again, Elefun is trying to minick him meanwhile Astro is doing his trade mark hands in pockets posh that is so freakin cute!
Also Sapphire is a broken down robot with Kimba agai-...is that Einstein in the crowd!? O_O

Meh, I think i'd of prefered this art to the prequel. Would've been a lot more interesting.

Great find, Acorn! This guy is a real pro -- I enjoyed his take on the characters. Looks like he pitched the job, but it was given to the other artist who really attempted to draw the comic in the style of the cg movie, and I think that's part of what made it funky.

Yeah, I like those wild, expanding rocket boots!

In 02 it looked like he was about to cry after being knocked into the wall
