I think she would have been shocked and then impressed and probably would have helped him hide it from Hamegg. She was P.O.ed because he didn't trust her with his secret (IMHO), and I think she figured he was "no better than a dishonest human guy" so sat there scowling at him during the robot games (although she was clearly upset).

They both didn't deal well with each other there -- oh, well, part of forming a relationship, ya know!

And if you want an answer now, look at how Cora reacted at the Robot Games when Hamegg told her. Frankly, she'd feel betrayed and hate his guts....until he did the puppy eyes, even she couldn't resist that for long!

Yes, those big ol' eyes get him out of a lot of situations, don't they.

hmmmm imagine if Doc Tenma had those eyes, instead his beady little chicken eyes (although they did do a good job of amping up his studliness in the 03 anime).

I personally found Tenma's eyes to be pretty big, at least when he gets a close up, that is.

And then whenever I draw him, I end up making his eyes too big. <_<

Edit: Unless you were referring to 2009 Tenma... ugh...

yeah, but still Tenma was sooo much better looking in the 03 series you have to admit also Astro in the 09 movie was not as well designed as he was for the 03 series as well as the other characters.but Cora i think was a revisit to "Astro's first love" which was adorable but it lacked that Tezuka feel

Well, of course 2003 Tenma looked better than 2009 Tenma. All previous Tenmas looked better than the 2009 one.

And I don't think Cora was a homage to Nikki, I think they just added her in and the other kids to serve as the "protagonist's best friends" roles. Astro and Nikki's relationship was a lot more apparent than Astro and Cora.
