It was £30 for me, but it'd different in America.
And the manga is so cool! I have the already and I love the artwork in them. The relationship between father and son is sad too
I can honestly tell you the manga is better than the anime.

The Australian editions are alright, but are known for not having a very good book margins, and are also known to fall apart after some time. In short, not the greatest quality and something that I would personally pass off.
Here's hoping an American publisher one day licenses it... but that's almost near impossible. I'd rather have something more local and of better quality.
But hey, nice to hear.
