Atom's birthplace?

I was just wondering, does anyone happen to know the place Tezuka was at when he first authored the manga? Several people consider that to be Atom's birthplace, and I read about it once somewhere, but I cannot remember what it was nor where I read it.
Alternatively, was Ochanomizu's place of birth ever mentioned? If not, then Atom's is fine.
Thanks.

...In all seriousness, I'm talking about what real world place did Tezuka author the manga...
I'd rather not be getting replies that are meant for humor.

There was also another book that I read that was called Loving The Machine and it described a bunch of real world robots like ASIMO and robots from shows like Gundam, and ofcourse, Astro Boy. I can't remember all that it said, but I think it might have the answer to your question.

This one?

OMG it has Astro on the cover

hmy:
I just finished reading Halo: Contact Harvest, and I think that it could qualify as the best book I have ever read. The end was certainly tragic, the planet was destroyed, it had an excellent plot, outstanding characters; all the good things.
My avatar is the avatar of the A.I. (Artificial Intelligence; no, not a robot) Serina from HALO in case you didn't know.

Wow, you two are the least helpful human beings ever concieved.
Astro was definitely born in Tokyo, which seemed to be where Tezuka was stationed at the time (if not that, then Takarazuka, where his permanent studio was for a while), and I remember Ochanomizu lived somewhere in the islands of Northern Japan as a child. I'll need to re-read certain chapters of the manga to be sure.
