Here's the link, it appears you can still watch if you want to pay $7.99 (US dollars) month. Kinda high for something with commercials.

Here's the message:
Availability: Due to rights restrictions, this show will expire from Hulu at the end of 2010. Subscribe to watch this show on TV, mobile and web.

Rights restrictions? If this is Tezuka Production's idea, then they're crazy -- you keep Astro "alive" and build an audience by keeping his different series out there, not yanking it offline an making people pay what amounts to half my cable bill for just one service. (yeah, I have cheap cable)

It looks like the 2003 anime will remain online at Hulu for free.

I think that is way overpriced to watch the '80s series with commercials on hulu. I'd understand free with commercials, but pay $8 to watch it with them is ridiculous!

That's like Rhumiko Takahashi sending her zenzo-nazi brigade of lawyers to shut down every Inuyasha fan video on you tube, what's wrong with her?!

You don't build a fan base by bashing them for making non-monitary gaining videos of your characters, which only supports you in the end.

They should stream the subtitled Japanese dub as well. I appreciate efforts to stream anime for free, but only offering the English dub makes the series look bad.
