Just a quick heads up, and I'm sure everyone already knows who WingedMushroomofDoom is by now...

But she has uploaded some music tracks of the 'Music of Metro City' soundtrack onto her account. I think all of it from the soundtrack is there.

It includes an instrumental versions of True Blue and Boy's Heart (although this version is very different)! I'm very glad because this means that my fandub lyrics might have a better chance of becoming a reality. =P

I feel like e-mailing her, someone really should archive these somewhere.

Anyway if you want the actual soundtrack in your hands, I think you can order it from Amazon.com. If not, the Japanese Amazon then.

I forgot to note that the "Music of Metro City" actually comes in two parts. If you want the complete soundtrack, you would need to buy both.

I'm not sure if WingedMushroomofDoom has both parts or not.

Is this perhaps the second part of the original score soundtrack? I have the Original Soundtrack Score and the PS2 game soundtracks up on my blog, but this one piques my interest...

I really have no idea how to check whether this is part two or not, since I was basically told 'just' now about these uploads.

Perhaps I should try to investigate further by going on Amazon, gimmie a sec.

It's listed as 'V.2.', but I don't see anything that is entitled V.1. Perhaps you should check to see if your copy has the same tracks as this one? There is also another soundtrack on Amazon called Astro Boy: Book CD.

This is very interesting. There are no signs of a v.1 anywhere. Also, the CD WMD has up has 40 or so track, the Original Score has about 20 and the game soundtrack has 60, including the instrumental True Blue.

:/ Oddities among oddities...

Looking on Amazon Japan, I can only find Part 2 there too. There is a couple more soundtrack CDs there obviously, but nothing that looks like Part 1.

I wonder if F-Man might know more about this, he was the one who told me about these recent uploads.

Hah, seems befitting since I think the piano instrumental version of Boy's Heart plays during certain Atom & Tenma moments. That instrumental version isn't in part 2.
