Well, I knew about this for a while. Now there are companies that make 80 - 100 $ gaming surround sound headsets. Main companies are Triton and the most popular is "Turtle Beach." Now I think these headsets are pretty good. I don't own an Astro headset but I do own a Turtle Beach PX21 model.
There is a company out there that makes these headset and they are called "Astro"

Well Astro did have super hearing. I guess now you can too when playing a video game.
