Not the 'actual' character models (darn double darn! :d oh: what I wouldn't give for ASTRO, WHAT I WOULDN'T GIVE!) but they're selling things like items to furniture that was in the movie.

Click here to see it all

The items they're selling are:

Astro's flying inventions with plane
Astro's soccer ball
Toby's hat
Tenma and Toby's photograph with frame
Cora's bag
Cora's camera
Hamegg's car
Tenma's limo o.o
Tenma's goggle thingy
Elefun's metal suitcase
Running away Man's suitcase
Davinci and the books
Desks and seats from class and home
Cans the kids drink from
Equipment used to clean, spray and paint Zog
Search light (used to to shine on Zog)
Microscope
Taxi
And President Stone's oil...who's at the bottom because I hate him =_=;

There's also other items in there, I think from TNMT but I haven't seen that...I just guessed from the food models. :lol: ;;;;;

But wow, wouldn't it be cool if we could've brought all the models with the characters and made our OWN movie? ;) One can dream.

Steve and I were looking at this yesterday!! It's for artists to use in their animations, because it takes soooooooooooooooooo long to create the objects in the 3D programs. He reuses stuff whenever possible, too. It's clever of them to do that, but it show's they're looking to raise money (you don't see that on Dreamworks or Pixar's site, now do ya?)

I wonder what they charge for the different items...

What, are they that desperate for money?

Part of me kinda thinks that selling these models, even though Imagi created them, would be illegal without permit from Tezuka Productions first. But who knows, they might have already been allowed.

They are not selling Astroboy-specific models, so I don't think they would have copyright issues. Those are their creations ;)
