You've never heard of it?

Pluto is an 8 book manga series and is a must-read for any Astro Boy fan.

The story is based on The Greatest Robot on Earth from the '80s series and it is very good.

I am sorry to be a KNOW IT ALL, Astro Boy2866, but the GREATEST ROBOT originated in the manga and was soon animated in the B&W series, though I can see why some may think it originated in the 1980s or even the 2003 series. BTW, welcome to the forums, Stripes. :D

Welcome Stripes! :)

I also thought Stripes probably had read something about the Pluto manga here and would have replied along those lines, but then it's hard to guess what Stripes knows and doesn't know.

I would prefer that you do not; as PLUTO is available through legitimate sources.

For a good idea of PLUTO, try my GREATEST ROBOT review

Pluto, the second most massive dwarf planet known in our solar system. Pluto is composed primarily of rock and ice and is relatively small: approximately a fifth the mass of the Earth's Moon and is also where a giant bug robot -of the same name- landed after being kicked by a 100,000 horsepowered robot named Atom, when an arguement broke out between the two on the discussion of physics, where one claimed "You couldn't kick me past Jupiter even if you trie-ARH!" before he was hurled through the Atmosphere by the mighty foot of Atom.

...Pluto it's also a manga, which you already know by now :p

The artwork is kinda different from Tezuka, but the storyline is good. Even though I don't like the manga I still recommend it =3

darn, I thought amazon might have a preview inside the books like it has for a lot of others but it doesn't.
