Some weeks ago I was browsing Ebay out of curiousity and quickly stumbled upon an official Tetsuwan Atom Guide Book, and it's apparently still on Ebay so I just figured I would show it.

This thing is absolutely amazing, and something I would personally consider a holy grail of sorts for any Atom collection. It pretty much has pages of almost everything, some of those pages focusing on the art and others even on some figures. It also apparently has its own manga included in it, and has a section dedicated to the 1960's anime. It almost has everything.
I'm just going to call it "Tetsuwan Atom Complete Works", merely because it reminds me so much of the Complete Works art books that UDON has published.

Yes I have this collection, and its title is "TetsuWan Atom Complete Book". It was released in 2003 as part of the Atom Dream Project and features guides to the manga and first two anime series as well as a preview of the then as yet not aired 2003-4 series. As well as having a history of Atom thoughout the years, the collection also came with a reprint of the Atom Tales as originally printed in the newspaper serial from 1967 to 1969. It is well worth the price.

I'm a little more interested in this Atom Dream Project, do you might know more about it?

The Atom Dream Project was the collective name for several tributes to Atom/Astro Boy in the year 2003; the year Atom was "born". Along with the "Complete Book", there were a few CDs released such as a CD with different versions of the Atomu March recorded by different artists. There were several projects done commemorating the birth of Atom climaxing with an animatronic Atom "being born" on April 6, 2003 at the Tezuka Manga Museum and the premiere of the third anime series known as "TetsuWan Atom/Astro Boy" in Japan.

ASTROBUDDY, does this book detail episodes & characters? I have a decent grasp of both, but the names of the characters or actors often elude me. I listen carefully and at 1/2 speed when playing the episodes, but I can usually only identify names by the suffixes that follow them. The pages in the image have many characters on them, and I assume, little more than their names listed.

Just a heads up, the item is apparently no longer available but the description of it is still there. I'm just going to save the photographs they took onto my harddrive, for anyone interested.
Edit: Also, while I'm not sure entirely, I think the actors listed in the book are from the manga. I don't think they include those from the two anime series, but I could be completely wrong.
