Just in case you haven't seen this McDonalds ad before...

Wow, I mean the movie could have done better if it was more advertised. I do not even recall seeing that ad, ever! I only saw a few ads when it was in theaters and I never saw ANY ads for the bu ray/dvd release.

I saw that youtube vid before but I never saw an ad on tv, juat in the theiter.

Well, it certainly wasn't aired in Australia, Astro Boy receivedv very little advertising here.

I first saw that on the MacDonalds website, when I was trying to preview the toys. A few days later, I saw the start of this commercial on TV and got really excited...

...but then, they replaced the footage of Astro flying by the restaurant with part of the scene where he's testing his jets above the clouds. Then there'd be a shot of the kids looking up and being amazed, then more of him flying off from the movie. And then nobody in the room believed me that there was a different, better trailer elsewhere.

Yah i had seen both of those too i didnt like that they changed it either. were i live the only way to not see tons of movie adds is to not watch tv

I have never seen that second ad; I never even knew there was a McDonalds ad for Astro Boy. But maybe it just wasn't aired in Australia

^_^ 4 the first time m acully going to say the movie astro is cute..

That ad should have used a bit more special effects in order to make it to look more realisitc. But, of course, advertisements almost never have large budgets (in case you didn't know, there was this really cool Honda had that had 626 takes and re-takes)
