He appears several times actually, but his most noticeable appearance was when Astro was flying around Metropolis. I think his other appearance was a scientist elsewhere.
It's actually very nice to have thought of him to include him in. The movie may not be that great, but it's those little things about it that does make it appealing.
You can take screenshots by pressing PrntScrn on your keyboard, then pasting it into something like MS Paint.

Yeah, its nice to know that they at least decided - and knew about - the other wonderful stuff that Tezuka ahs drawn and has decided to include them.

I just woke up and had multiple dreams about watching Metropolis movies (even a sequel :eek

in theaters, and one had a trailer after the credits for an Astro Boy anime movie. I was all excited to see Rock in it, and Mustachio in his detective outfit. I was telling my cousin that this was some sort of announcement premiere cause the internet didn't know about it yet.
I would have loved so much to see more of the regular cast as CGI models, faithful looking to their original designs, in the movie.

@ F-man, I think they should make other films like Metropolis, period. I wish I wish I wish!
I find the Tezuka appearances odd, because if they bothered to put him in there, why couldn't they have bothered to stay true to the story?

It's not like Tezuka had a major role in the film. It was a cameo appearance, and Tezuka made A LOT in the AB manga.

How comes I didn't notice that before?
I can't help but think of Osamu Tezuka's Cameo in the NOW! Comics Astro Boy.
