Honestly that's stupid. I think there is one guy on youtube who has that series on his channel (yxus or something like that as his/her username.) Hopefully YouTube's copyright system won't take him down. It's things like this that make me sad to see that not a lot of people here in America don't even know of Astro Boy's existence. If Astro Boy was popular and received more views that show would still be on there, it's really sad to see.

Its because crackle which is what play's videos on hulu and when they kicked of the 1980's series, they kicked it off of crackle on youtube. Now every one who's uploaded the series has been copyrighted. BigWingedMushroomOfDoom On youtube only has the birth of astro boy 1/3 but not 2/3

Phew, at least I downloaded the episodes in Spanish. I'm looking forward the DVD to get the original japanese voice acting + subs.
It's sad that they're kicking Astro out from YouTube.

Unfortunately it doesn't include one half of the story of his birth. First two episodes were cut and merged into one, leaving the uncut ones for the Australian set only. It's a real let down and the only reason I haven't bought it yet.

Nah that's still in there. I think they cut most of Atlas's story, so when we see him later in the show, he sort of comes out of nowhere.

I saw that, and wondered what the heck was going on. Then I saw the WHOLE THING on YouTube before they pulled it off, and NOW Atlas "makes sense."
You know, the American public has never really had a chance to get to know Astro Boy except for the first series back in the 60's -- and that ran a couple years, not a FEW WEEKS.
From what I've read neither the 80's or '03 versions got a chance to run all the way through here. I guess if something isn't a raging success in 2 weeks, it's yanked off the air. ooofah!!!

The American boxset includes subbed episodes.
