IMO, Pluto was the best because it was very deep and I liked it very much. I read the Greatest Robot on Earth and it wasn't as deep or as serious as the Pluto manga was. I would love it if they made the Pluto manga into a anime movie, but that probably won't ever happen :(

I was just thinking about this a few hours ago. There's something to be admired about Tezuka's original story. Not only did he actually invent it, which paved the way for future adaptations to come, but sliding deep social and political issues in a children's comic is also to be commended. I love stories that are More Than What They Seem.

Pluto is still very very awesome. I haven't finished it though.

Please do no link to manga scans as this is a form of stealing.

The moderators may possibly be fine with manga that isn't available for sell in English, but I think it's still best not to take any chance. ;)

As far as I know, Pluto by Urasawa is still in print and still being sold in stores, it isn't that rare as you make it out to be.
