The site made my browser freeze up. But I guess it could have been a fluke...

I was able to open it with the latest Mozzilla Firefox.

It looks like a mix of medical information and Atom, and I'm not sure of the connection. :( Care to explain, Solarcat? :)

Becareful IE users.... If you have told the Hackers your OS and Antivirus
they may lay a hijacker or worse on you. A fake Astro page or a fake page of somekind with Rogue spyware.
Delete your cookies and temp files and run a malware scan. If you have a reg cleaner run that too. :o hmy: :p irate: :ninja:

Great! I just came from there using IE and in private filter. Most of our computers have rogue stuff on them. and a website can have malware on it that can call to various browers. locking them up and stuff. I have been thinking about Chrome. But I'm not sure. Anyway the site does not set off my alarms when i'm in private. It seems to be a medical site with Astro pushing pills but pills for what?

Do you have proof that this "Pariet" site has rotten stuff on it?

Also, my browser froze when trying to exit the site. Sometimes my Chrome will freeze up if I try to leave something suddenly, even if said site is safe.

No proof as my scan did not alarm. However most redirect HTML or grabbers get you when you try to leave.
Here is a datafeed on some of what the site is talking about...
GERD
Bitter stomach syndrome? A gastric disorder...
And Astro is hyping the treatment pills. An Antiacid?
Oh and I had that freeze up stuff bad! My AV found tracking cookies were the cause. Evertime I would go to a site from a site the cookies would send or record the data and that took time. As these cookies report your movements your computer will hang or freeze. Sometimes the whole computer woulkd just freeze. Update windows they have security patch just released. update your AV and sweep out your tracking cookies. You will have sign in again to get new cookies at your favorite sites, but it's the one way to get rid of any rogue tracking cookies.
