As we all know In the 03 series astro's goal was world peace. I can't speak for others but i have 2 questions for the lot of you.
1. Do you feel his struggle? I feel it every day.
2. do you feel that emotionally astro boy (the 03 one) would be able to survive in this day and age in our world? I say no with all the crap going on in my area and world wide. Here is an example:

tell me what you think. remember the second question is about emotion, not physical strength.

Give the kid some resilliance at least. He'd be tripping out over Egypt though.

Every other day I wonder why Astro never 'lost it'. Given the main idea, I'd probably go all slasher at that point X3
Lol, Astro goes slasher. That would be so funny X3

Well he
does almost loose it in episode 48 of 03 -- he hollers to the heaven's "AARRGHH! When will we ever gonna stop fighting each other?!"
Never saw Astro so upset, and it remains one of my favorite scenes. Not because I want him upset, but because he is SO HUMAN in his frustrated reaction in that scene.

What about the time he cut that ledge free (was it called UNDERCOVER?)? He, obviously assumed the humans who were under it would evade it, but never before did he do anything of this type.

What about near the end of episode 38, "Battle-Bot," when he shoots his digibeam and blows up the robot that was being controlled by a human. That was a pretty big explosion and I'm pretty sure that it was close enough to the cockpit that the human would've died or at least have been wounded badly.

Who could survive that?

DEFENATLY!!!!!!! i have a healing skill that requires astros streangth. when im hurt; real bad, i think of astro and how he would feel so i suck it up and i feel better ^^ also i share a real touch with astros craving for world peace. thats one reason why i love him as for the second question he may like it; but ...its not exacly "nice' anymore. and if just a 4 year old kid can show me that i am like atlas (wound in heart of humans) than im not sure if he ..presisly would like living in this world.

I'm just starting to notice now, (We'll, I've noticed before, but not REALLY) in the japanese 03 series, Astro NEVER hurt anybody. I was thinking that, after 14 episodes of basically the same thing, some people might be getting annoyed at Astro's main idea of a battle:
"Wait, don't shoot, let me talk to them!"
And that often worked XD
But in the American Manga version (You know... soaring high in the sky, the amazing Astro Boy. XD That one) He just goes and blows stuff up because 'they're robots'. When I considered this, I almost cried. X3 "No... Astro, why?? Why are to hateing on your own kind?!?"
I understand this was supposedly okay, since these robots didn't have Omega Factors.
BUT NEITHER DID THE ROBOTS IN THE 03 SEIRES!!!!
Sooo... Astro has an attack of evil in his third series, appearantly XDD
Also, in the movie, I think he should have tried harder to keep that battle from happening. It was like he just didn't want to fight because he thought he'd lose. >.>
