HI- if ASTRO COULD what would he become and do that would make him happy? thanks hugs- pray everyone eternal salvation and safety-

Ohhh good question, and it's one I answered for myself, but looking forward to reading what everyone thinks.

I believe Astro would become a scientist who would work on the biological connections between humans and robots (how robotics and bioengineering could work together to fight human illnesses and injuries, and better understand what makes humans "tick.")

Because he is such a social creature - and family always meant a lot to him, I believe Astro would love to raise his own family. He is such a loving being, I picture him wanting to experience all that life has to offer. I also picture him always being involved in advocating understanding and peace. It's like he doesn't "get" our human shortcomings, and would like to help us grow past them. I think that would give him immense satisfaction.

I'd imagine that he would probably become an ambassador of national or world security, if he isn't one already. Let's face it, people would practically always need him around. But AprilSeven explained it better, so.

Speaking of which, he was named Japan's envoy for overseas safety in 2007.

Something I've wondered is: as his classmates grow up, would he want to be transferred to an "adult" body? Or would he prefer to remain small? I confess, being small certainly has given him advantages against enemies.

Well, he did refuse a manlier body when Atlas suggested he upgrade. But that was a different circumstance, I suppose. I personally don't think he would want to be transferred to an "adult" body for several reasons: Like you said being smaller works to his advantage in battle. He has no problems with acceptance so I don't think his friends growing up would be an issue, plus they will also keep getting older and there would be no point to him upgrading any higher than an adult body. Eventually he would have to start all over anyways. Best to stay as the cute little robot boy he is!
