80s Astro Boy animator has passed away.

Hiroshi Kakoi, one of the animators who worked on the animation in the 1980 Astro Boy anime, has passed away. He passed away during the March 11 earthquake in Japan. No age was given.

@Astro Boy2866 - In the obit it said he perished in the quake/tsunami (his wife survived).

I can't bear to watch the footage of the that wave destroying everything, knowing lives were being lost instantly.
