Whoa, I've finished the game and didn't notice this... Unless it was only the DS version?
Those small animations (the ball one is just one of them) were first featured on the official movie website, and I thought they looked very nice and polished, so I was very glad to see them all included in the Blu-ray release of the movie, in the menus and special features.

Well, I've never really cared for the movie adaptions, so I don't know which version it was from. I only remember seeing a screenshot of Astro kicking a ball in a soccer field.

Dawwww he's so cute! I don't remember seeing that on the movie site, though...

Maybe the screenshots I saw were just beta screenshots, something intended for the game but never made it.
Also makes me wonder if there was originally going to be a soccer match in the movie...

I found it when I was randomly looking in the special features and it was at the end of "Inside the recording booth" which is probably why some of you guys haven't seen it before.
