When you look: Astro Boy, MegaMan, the Boy David in A.I. artificial intelligence and i now about a other movie. But i forget the name.
All are robot boys. But why do people invent such a thing?
Maybe because they look so cute, or people wish the images can be as they want. Or what do you think? And why just boys? Or you know a story about a robot girl? Apart of Zoran and Roll.

Metropolis is a anime and like the main charector is a girl robot. I'm sure there's more though

Why robots kids are so popular?

Robot kids are so popular because kids arent normally a hero but then it makes sence cuz their a robot. I guess its boys cuz women are aparently weaker and more stubbor (look at zoran for an example)

But there are some kids heroes. Look at Robin from Batman. Or this little hero, i find him for some days.

But perhaps the people like the dramatic stories which is behind the robot children. Example Astro Boy and David.

As I said its cuz kids are the least likly heros (and their funnier if youve seen Teen Titans) and yeah robots can be more dramatic because their not human so it is exceptable to have more dramtic happenings (thats one of the reasons I like Astro because more dramatic things happen to him)

I write on a since fiction roman and one of the heros is a robot boy.

He has a very dramatical past.

I look under my nikname and see, i´m not longer a junior member .

But look at Davis from the A.I. Movie. He has note super powers and is not a hero.Instead, he has but the dramatic story. Maybe we like the different.
The non-human, but still loving.Since the A.I. movie is the best example.
But Astro Boy even too.

There's also "My Life as a Teenage Robot". The main character is a girl robot named Jenny.
